The Royal Blush

Christian Busel won our stay @ home competition with this stunning cocktail.
It pairs beautifully with anything chocolate or salted almonds.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Royal Mash
8 Fresh raspberries
20ml Honey Syrup
25ml Fresh lemon juice
20ml Ameretto Disaronno
25ml Egg white ( or aquafaba)
Dash of vanilla bitters


METHOD:
Muddle the raspberries & honey syrup in cocktail shaker. Add the remaining ingredients. Shake hard. Add ice, shake until cold. Fine strain into a cocktail glass.

Honey Syrup

A simple syrup to sweeten drinks with. Why not experiment with different types of honey!

INGREDIENTS

100g Honey
100g water



METHOD:
Put the water and honey in a pan. Heat gently until the honey dissolves. Cool before use.

NB increase or decrese the quantity. This syrup stores well.

The Royal Bramble

The Royal Bramble – luckily this will not be a thorn in your side. A delicate tipple yet full of berry flavour and aroma.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Royal Mash
7 Ripe blackberries
2 Tblsp raspberry conserve

Garnish - Fresh blackberries


METHOD:
Muddle the vodka and blackberries. Add the raspberry jam and mix well. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vodka mix. Shake for one minute. Strain through a sieve into a chilled glass. Top with fresh blackberries.

Royal Mule

The Royal Mule – Royal Mash with a classic mule. It kicks, but in a regal manner.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Royal Mash
Half a fresh lime - juiced (optional)
150ml Ginger Beer

Garnish - Fresh ginger sliced (optional)


METHOD:
Fill chosen glass or tumbler with ice. Add the vodka and lime juice – stir. Top with chilled ginger beer and fresh ginger slices.

Royalita

Mingling a margarita and royalty in a glass.

INGREDIENTS

50ml Royal Mash
50ml Fresh Lemon Juice
50ml Fresh Lime Juice
25ml Cointreau
25ml Simple syrup
Few slices of Jalapeno Pepper

Garnish - Lime wedge, jalepeno slice, salt

METHOD:
Salt the rim of either a tumbler or Margarita glass. Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 1 minute. Strain once into your chosen glass. Garnish with the lime wedge and jalapeno slices.

Salted Royal Canadian

When you take Canadian Maple syrup, combine it with fresh pecan milk and a touch of salt is something unique, add Royal Mash and it’s a special adult treat!

INGREDIENTS

50ml Royal Mash
150ml Fresh pecan milk (or alternative milk)
2tsp Maple syrup

Garnish - Pecans and Pink Himalayan salt


METHOD:
Put the vodka, pecan milk and syrup in a mixing glass. Stir well. Add ice, a pinch of salt and stir several times. Pour through a strainer into a glass filled with ice.
Top with pecans and sprinkle with the salt.

Royal Black Russian

An old fashioned cocktail with a regal feeling.

INGREDIENTS

60ml Royal Mash
22.5ml Kahlua Coffe Liqueur

Garnish -Orange Slice & Maraschino Cherry

METHOD:
Stir the vodka & coffee liquer together with ice. Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Top with the orange slice and cherry on a cocktail stick.

Royal Bloodhound

A little bit tart, all dressed up!

INGREDIENTS

30ml Royal Mash
60ml Campari Bitter
90ml Pink Grapefruit Juice

Garnish - Grapefruit Zest or slice


METHOD:
Put the vodka, Campari and grapefruit juice in a shaker with ice. Shake briefly. Strain into an ice filled glass. Garnish with the zest or slice.
